Pour into three small plastic containers. I used these 5 gram sized containers. They are tiny but work great for adding to a purse or bag because they don’t take up much space.

How to prevent the cocoa powder from sinking at the bottom of the container while cooling down?

      Hi Hannah,
I never ran into that issue. I believe the cocoa powder is suspended in the fats in the coconut oil but I’m not sure on the science of it. Are you having an issue with it sinking?

Thank you, Mary! I’m not sure what the shelf life is. From what I found online the suggested shelf life is 2-3 months for a homemade lip balm without preservatives. But it would depend on so many things from preparation methods, moisture levels, storage practices, as well as when the lip balm was put into use.

Yes, you can use the yellow beeswax. The only difference will be in the final color of your lip balm.

      Hi Sarah,
Although I’ve never tried that, I think cocoa butter would work instead of coconut oil. Enjoy!
