The department offers a dedicated Leadership Conference Series organized and facilitated by nationally recognized leader in radiology, Richard Gunderman, MD, PhD. The department'sWomen in Radiology Group is comprised of trainees and faculty that meet regularly for guest speaker events, mentoring and volunteer opportunities.

The department's residency Academic Research Track (ART) equips trainees in the finer points of research through a dedicated conference series. Residents whose projects are accepted through the ART also receive a bonus 10 percent dedicated research time longitudinally while on their clinical rotations throughout the academic year. These highlights and numerous additional career development opportunities exist and are regularly created by the department's talented group of residents.

Fellowship Training Opportunities

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at IU School of Medicine provides comprehensive fellowship opportunities.
