Is this school online or in person?
It is 100% online. You can make your own schedule, and work from any device!
Is this cannabis college accredited?
Yes! We are the only cannabis education school in the world that has an internationally recognized accreditation provided by ANSI/IACET.
What are the admission requirements?
Anyone 18+ can enroll for cannabis training at CTU. No experience is needed, and no prerequisites or education requirements. NO GED or High School Diploma needed! You do not need to take Cannabis 101 before the Master of Cannabis Program.
The only requirement is an internet connection. You can view Cannabis Training University’s courses on any type of device, including a cell phone, laptop, desktop, and tablet.
What is the Master of Cannabis Program?
It is an online training program that is designed for cannabis career and business focused students. It consists of 8 career courses, 42 hours of required content, and when completed, you will earn 10 cannabis industry certifications. How many credits will I earn in the Master of Cannabis Certificate Program?
You will earn 4.2 credits at the end of this cannabis certification program. In the ANSI/IACET standard, credits are also known as Continuing Education Units or CEUs.
What can I do with the credits earned?
Credits prove to employers that you’ve received quality cannabis training. Credits can be transferred between cooperating organizations.

What certifications do I get with the Master of Cannabis Certificate Program?
With the Master of Cannabis Certificate Program, you get 10 certifications! You will earn certifications in Indoor Marijuana Growing, Outdoor Marijuana Growing, Medical Marijuana, Cannabis 101, Budtending, Cannabis Cooking, Cannabis Extractions, How to Open a Dispensary, How to Open a Cannabis Business, and the ultimate Master of Cannabis Certification.
How long do I have access to the Master of Cannabis Certificate Program?
You have 12 weeks of access to the Master of Cannabis Program.
Discounted extensions are available if you need more time! And from the day you sign up until your access time ends, you have unlimited logins and access to the cannabis videos and e-books as often as you would like.
How long should it take me to complete the Master of Cannabis Certificate Program?
Most CTU students take a few weeks to finish our Master of Cannabis Certificate Program. With 3-4hrs/day you should finish in 2 weeks.
Since it is self-paced, some students complete the program faster, and some complete the program slower. Ultimately, it's up to you. There are no set class times and no homework deadlines at CTU.
Will I learn how to open a dispensary in the Master of Cannabis Certificate Program?
Yes! The Master of Cannabis Certificate Program includes your certification in How to Open a Dispensary! You will lean everything you need about opening, managing, and working at a cannabis dispensary, plus all of our other professional cannabis training.
What jobs can I get after I complete the Master of Cannabis?
You will be trained for any job in the cannabis industry. This includes jobs on a marijuana or hemp farm, in a cannabis dispensary, a CBD/Hemp shop, an extraction facility, an edibles kitchen, and much more! Having CTU on your cannabis resume helps you stand out from the competition.

Is there homework and a schedule?
There is no homework! There are knowledge checks and exercises along the way you can use to test your understanding of the material. But you will not have to turn in any homework!
There is no schedule! During your access period, you can learn at the most convenient time, at your own pace, anywhere in the world that has internet access!
Are there quizzes and tests?
Yes. But don’t worry—our students have a 99% pass rate!
To pass, you will need to score an 80% or higher on the cannabis quizzes and tests. However, there is no limit on the number of times you can take the quizzes and test along the way. We actually hear from our students that the quizzes and tests help them understand the material even better!
Are these certifications valid where I live?
Yes! No matter where you live in the world, CTU certificates are legal and are valid. CTU’s certificates are widely accepted by thousands of cannabis businesses. Many businesses consider CTU to be the only legitimate provider of a complete cannabis education that prepares students for entry into the booming cannabis industry.
Do the certificates expire?
No, the certificates from CTU do not expire, although some alumni like to take a periodic refresher to stay up-to-date with the latest new content.
Do you take financial aid, grants, or FAFSA?
Unfortunately, CTU is not able to accept financial aid or grants at this time. We do however offer a payment plan at checkout.
